Episcopal Knights. One knob runs the room.

Four Blaze 528 cabinets in a four-corner hang at the Episcopal Knights' gym — 180° horizontal per box, blanketing court and bleachers from the wood beams. The whole system runs off a single wall knob, with auto-ducking on the mic input keeping the MC clear over program music.

The Room

A Knights gym with character to keep.

The Episcopal Knights' gym is a real Louisiana high-school gym — wood-beam ceiling, polished wood floor with the Knights logo at center court, championship banners running the length of both walls. Years of Knights basketball in the room before any of our gear went up.

The PA was scoped to support that history. Fixtures hung from the existing structure, cabling routed clean along the beam line, controls flush at the score table. The architecture stayed the architecture.

The Install

Four corners. One knob does everything.

Four Blaze 528 cabinets, one per corner, hung on aircraft cable from the wood beams. Each box covers 180° horizontal — four cabinets blanket the whole gym, court to bleachers, with even level across the seats.

Everything terminates at a single wall control panel near the score table, running auto-ducking on the mic input. When an MC keys up, the program music drops behind their voice; the moment the mic goes dark, the music comes back. Staff see one knob, one zone, a master volume that handles the mix automatically — the MC clear, the music underneath, every time.
